What is this game (In-depth)


I'll be moving most information here and leave the main page more simple. I'll covering most aspects of the game here, what they do, what's the point and other stuff you may want to know if you are interested in the game! 

History of the development:

I'm a one man team most of the time, even though I receive help from friends from time to time. Even though I can't write code myself, I can still program instructions as long the software writes it forme, which is how I'm making the game. This game has one specific goal and that is to discover if I'm capable of making a game that is fun and entertaining. As such this game is meant to be somewhat short but with many unlockables and art to see.

What is this game?

Dungeons and Passion is a Furry NSFW Adventure/RPG combined with mild Visual Novel mechanics, such as building up affection with characters, completing their quests, making choices that can alter some scenes, and rewards or reactions from characters.

Game Plot:

The story of this game is simple, chill and easy going, with a twist here and there and some potential mystery.

You begin the story in an amusement park for adults, you as the player find yourself standing in front of one of the amusement park games; Dungeons & Passion. Inside you meet Yuki, the Guild Master. She is in charge of recruiting and train new members such as yourself. She sets you up for you new adventure for you to enjoy. In the way you'll meet people which you can help and develop their quest-line, build affection and unlock NSFW art of them. However, you'll also notice weird things happening, meet a strange character and unveil a mystery that seems to come from "outside of the box".


Gameplay Core: The game is a hybrid between a light visual novel and an turn-based RPG. The main reward for completing quests and advancing the game is NSFW art of the characters!


  • Affection:  As you play, you will find some characters which you can build up affection for, complete their quests, and see adult art of. This art contains animations and picture variations. 
  • Choices: You'll be presented with some freedom to behave in front of characters, mostly in the form of dialogue choices. All dialogue choices has an effect that vary from mild to game changing.

  • Battle System: Turn based battle system with 1 single party member. However, the gameplay is designed to not be able to just mash buttons to win. You'll be presented with a variety of skills that will allow you to counter enemy behavior in battle.
  • Difficulty: The game is made difficult by nature, so don't hold back on using the tools at your disposal!


Map Screen and Dungeons/Locations:

In order to be able to do all previously mentioned, you'll use the Map Screen to move around between Menus, Locations and Characters.


Controls:

Game is designed to be played with only the mouse, but there is a bit of freedom to use the keyboard when in the RPG scenarios.
